A new student housing development by Portsmouth University, in the heart of the city close to the station, meant that the wall sculpture ‘Jigsaw’ was taken down & placed in storage in 2016, awaiting a new & appropriate site.
Thanks to Rob Neale, Communities Co-ordinator PCC , a new site has been identified at the Charles Dickens Activity Centre,Lake Road, Portsmouth.
The sculpture will be cleaned and installed, in an exciting new configuration, on an external wall at the centre in clear view of users, pedestrians and passing traffic.
The work is planned to be on view early in 2017.
